Hey, anyone remember corkami's super cool file format visualizations?
i.e. https://github.com/corkami/pics/blob/master/binary/GIF.png ??

Well, i whipped up a super terrible programmatic version

Is anyone interested in more of the same? I did a simple PNG version also which is what prompted my asking with all the hullabaloo lately.

That is pretty nice, will it be just the file format defined in the standards ? i.e: the readable bytes directly or you will decompress the image files and point to everything internal too?

I can see that being useful if it supports several formats.
It would be great to have:
- decimal and hexadecimal display at the same time in the right part;
- endianness information;
- flags as text (list all possible values, highlight the ones that are on ?).

I wouldn't be upset if someone whipped one of these up for DWARF ;-P

Neat! I always wanted this capability in a debugger ever since I saw Corkami's stuff... Just define structs as C code and tell the debugger to visualise that struct in memory.
