Thoughts on Stack Overflow's new 'Documentation' section?

Announcement

Seems pretty slick honestly. If good programmers (maybe like the guys here *wink wink*) made contributions to the 'C' or 'C++' section it might become a good centralized repository of working examples by topic. Like Casey and a lot of guys here I don't exactly trust 99% of the answers on Stack Overflow so the jury is still out.

I think it has huge potential, but from what I've seen, it needs more direction. It seems like they have a particular structure in mind but they haven't communicated it well to users, or enforced it.

But all of that will probably stabilize over time as moderators do their thing.
Here's hoping.

I think the idea is pretty solid, but who knows how it will turn out. I'm sure there will be a pretty wide variance in quality amongst the different language/framework communities.
