I've always felt the tools and games I use are overcomplicated. Why do I need to install everything? Why does every program want to hook itself so deeply into my system? Why are there 2000 buttons on 500 toolbars when I'm only using 8 of them regularly? Why are there so many layers underneath? Can't we do better than this? Then Casey Muratori came along with Handmade Hero and started talking about alot of the things that bothered me. That got others thinking about it too, and now we have Handmade Network! I'm excited to be here, and looking forward to hearing more and more viewpoints. It's great to know I'm not alone!
