you can download the latest version (and usually a few older versions) as an archive from https://codeclap.itch.io/codeclap.
On Windows and Linux you can extract the archive into a new folder to start with a clean configuration or simply overwrite/extract into your existing folder to keep your current configuration.
macOS differs a bit in that you can start the application directly from the mounted dmg archive if you want. Or simply drag the .app somewhere else.
