What if social media actually was made for the end user and administrator? What if it encouraged minimizing the amount of time spent on it, while maximizing the amount of things that the end user gets out of it? What if you could host everything you need for your friend group on a $5 dollar VPS? What if it looked good so that it was an easier pitch then asking them to just use gajim? This project is an attempt to answer all those questions and more.

Ideas blatantly stolen from:

XMPP: The eXtensible part of the protocol has always made me say: "why is there not a forum/oekaki/other extension? You already have most things right there!". You could probably do something like this project using XMPP as a base. It would probably better due to it having more time on the market. I am specifically not using XMPP out of stubbornness.
