To answer a central question I got from Twitter, IRC, and Discord: We are not moving to audio podcasts longterm. I did it to just enjoy the experience, and maybe see the value of providing audio-only versions. TLDR; People like having the option to download an mp3, so future video episodes will have an alternative download link.
Speaking of which, the show is leaving Vimeo (well... it already left, you won't find the previous episodes there anymore) to find a more suitable home. Details to come in the March monthly news. Apologies for the temporary inconvenience, and I hope the audio podcast above holds you over until then!

Speaking of downloading the mp3, could you provide a way to download the mp3 without creating a soundcloud account?
youtuber-dl works without creating any account:
