rcut is a new, extremely efficient, UI library trying to show that you can build something rivaling Qt or GTK but without the bloat. At just 10kloc (+Harfbuzz dependency) it provides everything you expect from a modern UI framework while running smoothly on low end hardware like old Raspberry Pi's.

The foundational systems are all handwritten without AI. Some secondary features, such as the icon rasterizer and the high level theming API, have been implemented using thoroughly vetted AI generated code.
The documentation is human written but uses AI assistance to extend it with automatic screenshots based on example code and detailed theming information for widgets.
